Spread Some Love
I decided to make this blog post in hopes that after you read this you will want to spread some love. There are so many terrible and horrific things happening in the world today. But, we can all make a difference and help to spread positivity to outweigh all the negative tragedies that happen.
One of my favorite talk-show hosts, Ellen DeGeneres, started her show a few days ago shedding light on just some of the people that help make the world a bit brighter. It's 8 minutes long, but it is worth the watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qlp8gtiiNnM
After watching that video, I was inspired to write this post. Everyday Ellen hosts her show and spreads a positive message. Her signature saying to sign off of every show is "Be kind to one another." The message is simple and something we should all strive to do everyday.
I challenge you to do something nice for a stranger today. I bet they won't expect it either. Pay it forward, hold the door open, or even just smile at them. One simple act of kindness can turn someone's day around. The more kind acts, the better. Let's all spread some love and "be kind to one another." :)
